Wayne C. JacksonLancaster: Wayne C. Jackson, 75 of Lancaster passed away on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2017 at the Pickering House; after a long battle with cancer. He was born on June 4th, 1942 in Lancaster. Wayne was a 1962 graduate of Berne Union High School and a contractor for several years. He was a member of the Lancaster Old Car Club, as well as the Eagles. He liked to take walks in the mall every Monday, which he did for several years with his cousin, Howard.He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carolyn (Starner) Jackson; children, Kim Bailey and Shawn (Robin) Jackson, both of Lancaster; grandchildren, Zachary Bailey, Kobe Fetty, and Kaeden Fetty.He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Helen (Vanscoy) Jackson and his two brothers, Michael Jackson and Larry Jackson.Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 8th, 2017 at 12PM at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME with Dr. John K. Beckett officiating. Friends may visit from 10AM until the time of the service on Tuesday. Burial is to follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens with Military Honors.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pickering House, 282 Sells Rd. Lancaster, OH 43130.
