RACINE - Wayne Alan Peterson, 50, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2016 at his residence. He was a lifelong resident of Racine, born on April 25, 1966. Wayne was baptized and confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church. Wayne attended Concordia Lutheran School, Starbuck Jr. High and graduated from Washington Park High School in 1984. He continued his education at Gateway Technical College. His most recent employment was with Fair Oaks Farms, LLC. Wayne was a Green Bay Packer fan and a New York Yankees fan. He enjoyed boating and fishing with his father on Lake Michigan. Surviving is his father, Roy (Lin) Peterson, mother, Mary Ann (Henry) Halsted all of Racine; brothers, Erik (Caroline) Peterson and Randal Peterson, twin sister, Wendy Peterson, and sister, Angela Peterson; nephews, Evan, Mathew, Jeremy, Nathan and Tyler. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. Private family services have taken place. Wayne was laid to rest at Graceland Cemetery.
