Warren Evans, beloved son of E.D and Edna Mae Anderson Evans, was born on March 5, 1954, in Belton, South Carolina. He peacefully passed away on July 25, 2024, surrounded by his family and loved ones.
Warren was a loving father to his son, Kevin Jamille Evans. He took great pride in Kevin's accomplishments, including his graduation from Belton Honea Path High School in 1971. Kevin went on to further his education at Cecil Business College, following in his father's footsteps.
Warren Perez Evans age 70 of Winston Salem N.C., formally of Belton S.C. passed Thursday July 25,2024 in Winston Salem N.C. He was the son of the late E.D. Evans and Edna Mae Anderson Evans. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Belton S.C., where he sang on the choirs at a early age. He was a graduate of Belton Honea Path High School class of 1971, and the Cecil Business College After leaving Belton he moved to Winston Salem N.C., where he played drums and sang for G-3 and P4-13. Survivors include one son Kevin Jamille Evans of Greer S.C., three sisters Melzetta Oliver of Atlanta Ga, Dorothy Simpson of Belton S.C., and Devery Davis of Anderson S.C. He was preceded in death by his parents E.D. Evans and Edna Mae Anderson Evans. Memorial Services will be held Sunday August 11, 2024 at 1:00P.M. New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Holloway's Funeral Home is in charge.
Warren will be remembered for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering dedication to his family and community. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
