Wanda Grace Bush, age 69, of Deerfield Beach, FL, passed away peacefully at sundown on November 30, 2024. Born on May 17, 1955, in Deerfield Beach, Wanda was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, wife, and friend who brought joy, love, and light to all who knew her.

Wanda had a deep passion for singing, dancing, and sharing her love of music with others. Her vibrant spirit was felt most in the church, where she was an active and dedicated member of Lake Ida Church of Christ. Wanda’s faith and love for her church family were a cornerstone of her life, and she found great joy in worship and community.

A woman of boundless love, Wanda was known for her special affection for her nieces and nephews. Her deep bond with them was often described as “favoritism,” a testament to the immense care and devotion she had for each one of them. Wanda’s warmth and generosity will forever be cherished by her family, who will miss her infectious laughter, kind heart, and unwavering support.

Wanda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond Bush, She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Bush; her brother, Roger Bush; her nieces, Lora Bush and Dana Bush; her nephews, Kevin Harris and Joshua Allen Harris; her grandchildren, Dara and Gabby Bush; and many other extended family members and friends.

Services

A wake in honor of Wanda will be held on

December 6, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

at Poitier Funeral Home.

The funeral service will take place on

December 7, 2024, at 2:30 p.m.

at Lake Ida Church of Christ.
