Walter Williams, a beloved father, grandfather, and respected member of the Tucson community, passed away on February 3, 2024, after a courageous battle with prostate cancer. He was born on January 25, 1946, in Phoenix, Arizona.

Walter was a father to his five children, Michelle, Leroy, Jermaine, Angela, and Juanita. He was also a proud grandfather to three grandchildren. Walter took great pride in his family and always put their needs above his own.

Walter attended Central High School and went on to have a successful career in the military for over 12 years and earned a variety of badges of honor and his country, close friends and family honor his dedication to his job.

Outside of work, Walter enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, and watching sports.

Walter will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and sense of humor. He touched the lives of many with his warm smile and positive outlook on life. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Although Walter is no longer with us, his spirit and memory will forever be cherished by his family and friends. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
