Walter was born to James and Samantha, February 2, 1930 in the City of Manhattan, New York.  He graduated from Westside Highschool in the year of 1948 and received an Associates Degree in Enginerring from Manhattan Community College in the year of 1956.  He married Monique in the year of 1955 and they lived together in the Manhattan, New York Together they raised 5 children.

He leaves as his legacy :John, Claudine, Rachel, Shirley and Fred.  He also leaves to cherish his memory grandchildren; Marcus, Monica, Shawn, Aniya, Tasha, Riley, Carter, and Sierra. His Children remember his a honorable man that would do absolutely anything for his family.

He was preceded in death by his Wife Joyce and Brother Willie.

Walter was an profession welder and worked in this business for over 30 years until he retired in 1995 and was passoniate about affecting the most postive change in people.
