Walter Douglas O'HaraClarksville, TNWalter Douglas O'Hara, 80, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at his residence.Walter was born on December 10, 1936, in Auburn, NY to the late Walter M. O'Hara and Agnes Smith O'Hara. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Bob O'Hara.Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, August 18, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father John Patrick Day officiating. Burial with full military honors will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home.Walter is a Retired U.S. Army Veteran, having served in Korea and Vietnam. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.Walter is survived by his wife, Brunhilde O'Hara of Clarksville, TN; two sons, Michael (Deborah) O'Hara of Clarksville, TN and Martin (Lori) O'Hara of Dickson, TN; daughter, Diana (Charles) Weber of Clarksville, TN; two brothers, Bill O'Hara of Port Byron, NY and Mike O'Hara of Auburn, NY; four sisters, Jean Riester of Florida, Kay Carter of Cayuga, NY, Margaret Crowley of Fleming, NY, and Pat Morrissey of Auburn, NY; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.Arrangements entrusted to Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, 1510 Madison Street, Clarksville, TN 37040.
