Walter Stone JR., 73, of East Orange, New Jersey, passed on October 06, 2023. Walter was born on May 17, 1950. He died in his sleep peacefully surrounded by his family who loved him deeply.

Born in Laurens County, Georgia, Walter is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 35 years, Dorothy Annette Stone.

His children are Patricia McFadden, Wanda Ross and her husband Anthony, Derrick and his wife, Mielle, Deborah Pemberton and her husband, Dalton, Bernard and his wife Ellen and, Lenard.

He was blessed with grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.

His memorial will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. The address is 186 Brookside Avenue, Irvington, New Jersey.

Walter worked as an auto mechanic. He had a gruff exterior but, everyone who knew him agreed, Walter had a good heart! He was a good provider and generous. He loved fishing, joking around and dancing. He was a fan of Southern food, the blues, and westerns.

He will be missed by a long list of family members and friends.
