Donachy, age 79, of Port Huron, passed away on October 22, 2017, after a long illness, with her family by her side.She was born on February 4, 1938, in Port Huron, to the late Gordon Keith and Mary M. Gurnsey.Vivian married George E. Donachy on August 29, 1958, in Mt. Clemens. George passed away on March 13, 2016.She loved drawing, crocheting, board games, camping and spending time with her family. She also had a very special place in her heart for her dog, Lovabelle.Vivian is survived by her 4 daughters, Vicky (Jay) Morgan, Linda (James) Schultz, Mary Beth (Michael) Ward and Joy Jackson, two sons, Keith Donachy (Sue Veats) and Jay Donachy, son-in-law, Donald Jackson, seven grandchildren; Christine, Amanda, Jennifer, Justin, Courtney, Tyler and Tiffany, nine step-grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and 14 step great-grandchildren, brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Bobbie Gurnsey and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her sisters, Linda and Sarah Gurnsey and granddaughter, Frankie Lee Donachy.Memorial services will be 4:00pm Friday, October 27, 2017, in the Jowett Funeral Home, 1634 Lapeer Avenue, Port Huron. Pastor Joe Dehass will officiate.
