He was born on June 19, 1912 in Stamford, CT to the late Benjamin and Concetta Mallozzi. Vito was predeceased by wives Pauline Lovell and Martha Bisceglia, as well as his brother Lee Mallozzi; sisters Flora Crane and Antoinette Massare; son Richard and daughter-in-law Ruth Mallozzi and son-in-law James Byrne. He is survived by his loving daughter Loretta Byrne; son George (Linda) Mallozzi, step-children Frank (Lynne) Bisceglia and Marylou (Vincent) Menonna and grandchildren Roxanne (Justin) Simoncic, Ronald Mallozzi, James (Lori) Byrne, Cheryl (Lisa Alberici) Byrne, Paula Byrne and Susan and Lauren Mallozzi. He will also be missed by his great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, one great-great-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.Vito lived in Stamford, CT until the 1970s when he moved to N. Fort Myers, FL.Vito was smart, funny and always kind to everyone. He was able to share many memories and moments in history with his family and friends who will miss him deeply. He was "sharp as a tack" until he died.A memorial service will be held at a later date in Stamford, CT.
