A visitation for Virginia will be Thursday June 22 at Iles Grandview Park Funeral Home from 10-11 A.M. with a funeral service at 11 A.M. Burial will be immediately after at Pine Hill Cemetery. She was born on September 13, 1932 to Clarence and Doris (Batten) McCoun. She lived all of her life in the Des Moines area and married Robert Stegemann on December 29, 1951. They had one son, Virginia was a devoted wife and mother spending her life as a homemaker. Virginia is survived by her husband Bob of 65 years; her son Randy Stegemann of Des Moines; 2 sisters Mary Lou and Vicci. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Dan, 2 sister Patricia and Bernadine.
