DANIEL-FINNEY, Virginia Louise Of Dayton, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017 following a brief illness. She was born on February 25, 1927 to the late, Alberta and Howard Finney. She was employed at APEX here in Dayton and retired after 20 years of service. Virginia was among God's kindest and was deeply loved by both family and friends. Virginia, affectionately known as "Ginny" was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Beverly Harris and her sister, Sara Morton. She is survived by her son, Raymond Smith (Beverly); (5) grandchildren, Jesse Smith, Darrin Harris (Robyne), Karen Reid (Darryl), Gregory Harris (Shunice) and Elizabeth Gilbert (Chad); (12) great grandchildren; (6) great, great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m., WEDNESDAY, February 8, 2017 at THOMAS FUNERAL HOME, 4520 Salem Ave., with Reverend Perry Henderson, officiating.
