Campbell, age 82, of Nevada, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 1:00am at the Kindred Rolling Hills Transitional and Rehabilitation Center in New Albany, Indiana.Virgiline was born on October 2, 1934 in Lansing, Michigan to William and Ruth (Martin) Purchase, both of whom are deceased. She married Rev. O. Lloyd Campbell on October 13, 1960 and he survives. She is survived by 4 children: Jon Campbell, Carolina (Vance) Shepherd, Rachel Brigner, Beverly "Jody" Stockmaster. 10 grandchildren: Sandy Hartley, Bob, Brian and Chrissy Campbell, Alex Parker Shepherd, Anna Noel Shepherd, Crystal Shepherd, Jennifer, Jessica and Jillian Brigner, along with 4 great grandchildren.Virgiline is also survived by 6 brothers: Bill (Ann) Purchase, Richard (Lila) Purchase, David (Linda) Purchase, Ken (Charlene) Purchase, Douglas Purchase and Jerry Purchase, and 2 sisters Delores (Al) Louden, and Connie (Robert) McVey. Virgiline loved being at home for her husband and family as a homemaker. She also enjoyed her role as a pastor's wife serving congregations in Manton and Breckenridge, Michigan, and Nevada, Ohio, and supported her husband Lloyd, as he toured the United States and Mexico as an evangelist. Funeral services for Virgiline E. Campbell will be held at 11:00am Monday, November 14, 2016 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, with Rev. Lyndal Black officiating. Visitations will be held on Sunday, November 13, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm, and 1 hour before service time on Monday at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
