Violet Ann Witherspoon, 90, passed on June 06, 2022. She was born to Paul Jean White and Mariam White in Rochester, New York on November 11, 1932.

She married Allen Christopher Witherspoon in 1957 and they lived together in Rochester, New York. Together they raised 2 children Henry Witherspoon (Ramona Witherspoon) , and Ruby Lee Witherspoon (Charles Brown) . She is also survived by 10 grandchildren ( Nicole Weeks , Porche Witherspoon, Alexis Witherspoon , Toni Witherspoon , Lynn Brown , Gary Brown , Judy Brown , Matthew Witherspoon , Justin Witherspoon and Jason Witherspoon.

Violet graduated from Rochester high school in 1950 as top of her class .

Violet worked at Mason Cree Homes until she retired in 1988 and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people.

While Violet spent most of her days traveling with her grandchildren she had a passion for cooking also. She will be missed most for Sunday dinners and her warm home invitations.
