Gone too soon, but never forgotten!

Today we remember Victor Curry, AKA Melsoan. Melsoan was born to Tommie Sue Curry & Jack Duarte who are both predeceased.

He graduated from Long Beach High School and went on to enlisting in the US Army. There he became a cook where he served the soldiers. Once he was discharged, he continued to work as a professional chef for more than 20 years.He loved catering events and hosting family gatherings.

Melsoan had 6 siblings, 2 predeceased, Monze Curry and Leslie Turner Jr. Remaining siblings are Annie Curry, Dwight Curry, Lynette Curry and Ernest Curry. Mel leaves behind a beautiful daughter, and grandson, Shamika Curry and Zayden Eli Chambers.

Also step son Akil Coad and step daughter Shavier.  Mel also leaves behind Cynthia, his ex-wife. Mel was married to Lisa Coad Curry, Ex- wife who pre-deceased him.  He left behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and family and friends.

Mel was a true sports fan and loved his games... Super Bowl Sundays was one of his favorite gatherings..Mel loved his family and friends dearly... and  will truly be missed. Gone too soon but never forgotten.
