Victor Baca, 66, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at home surrounded by loved ones. He was born on April 11, 1949, to the late Fidel Baca and Lydia Padilla.He was a talented musician who loved to sing and play the guitar. He will always be remembered and loved by family and friends for his sense of humor, smile and outgoing personality. He is survived by his wife, Diane Baca of Las Vegas; daughters: Melanie Maes of Las Vegas, Nev., Victoria Pacheco and husband, Steve, of Las Vegas, N.M.; son: Victor J. Baca and wife, Dolly, of Las Vegas, Nev.; son-in-law: Dennis Maes of Las Vegas, NM; friend: Frank Perea of Las Vegas, N.M.; grandchildren: Daniel Maes and fiancée, Jorden Sisneros, Julian J. Baca, Jerry Baca, Josiah Baca, Victor Liam Baca, and Aiden Baca; great-Granddaughter: Danica Jae Maes; brothers: Louie Baca and wife, Molly, of Las Vegas, N.M., Frank Baca and wife, Sandra, Albert Baca and wife, Hazel, Floyd Padilla and wife, Lupe, of Albuquerque, Jimmy Padilla, JoJo Padilla of Denver; sisters: Bernice Lucero and husband, Max, of Ojitos Frios, Gloria Romero and husband, Nick, of Albuquerque, Dolores Ikenberry and husband, Bob, of Diagonal, Iowa, Geraldine Bate, Debbie Padilla, Becky Rodriguez and husband, Marcos, Denise Torres and husband, Jim, of Denver, Arabella Garcia and husband, Navor, of Gallinas, Ester Marrujo and husband, Johnny, of Albuquerque; numerous nieces and nephews.Memorial service has already taken place."Gone yet not forgotten; although we are apart, your spirit lives within me, forever in my heart."
