Victor Avila, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on January 8, 2026 in Sambo Creek, Atlántida Department, Honduras. He was born on July 28, 1938 to Tomas Avila and Prudenciana Hernandez.

Victor was married to Isabel Avila in 2004 and together they had seven children: Maribel Nunez with spouse José Luis Nunez, Francisco Ávila with spouse Jensy Ávila, Maria Isabel Avila with spouse José Ramírez, Vilma Avila Garcia, Lesly Yolanda Fernández with spouse Melvin Fernández, Oneida Avila, and Yeny Avila with spouse José Miguel Reynoso.

He was a devoted grandfather to 30 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren .

Victor will be remembered for his kind and generous heart, his unwavering dedication to his family, and his love for his community. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
