Forner, Vicki ElaineVicki Elaine Forner, age 73, of Cleveland, WI, died on Thursday, November 10, 2016. Vicki was born on May 18, 1943 to the late Charles and Mildred (Spanel) Sherbon in Washington, D.C. and was raised in Flint, MI. She graduated from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 1965. Vicki married Albert A. Forner in Fenton, MI, on June 6, 1969 and they moved to Sheboygan County to start their lives together as teachers at Lakeshore Technical Institute. Vicki was an LTI instructor for the Dental Hygiene Program, pioneered their Dental Assistant Program, and served the eastern Wisconsin community as a dental hygienist for over 35 years. Her true passions were reading, defeating her husband at chess, outwitting her children with jokes, and appreciating the beauty of Lake Michigan's coastline. Vicki is survived by her husband, Albert Forner; children, Matthew Forner of Bellingham, WA; Carolyn (Chad Farrell) Forner of Eagle River, AK; Valerie (Kyle) Tokarz of East Greenwich, RI; Ginger Lang of Anacortes, WA; and Joy (Todd) Eichorst of Virginia Beach, VA; six grandchildren, Ayden, Mason, Alexander, Evlyn, Klaudia, and Cyrus; and many friends and loved ones.Vicki was preceded in death by her parents Mildred and Charles, her sister Debbie, and her son Albert.Visitation will be from 2-4p.m. on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Zimmer Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center (Hwy 42 & JJ). A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 14, 2016 at St. Thomas of Apostles, 8100 Brunner Rd, Newton, WI with Father Dave Beaudry as Celebrant. Private burial will take place at St. Thomas of Apostles Cemetery. Thank you to Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Hospital staff for their care and support.In lieu of flowers, a monetary gift can be sent to the family. Portions will be donated to the St. Thomas the Apostle Christian Women organization and the family will also establish a memorial park bench. A tranquil setting will be chosen for friends and family to reflect and enjoy the beauty of Lake Michigan's coast.
