Verta Jo HarperSan AngeloVerta Jo Harper, 81, of San Angelo, passed away on March 30, 2017, in a local hospital.She was born on Dec. 30, 1935, in Neosho, Missouri. Jo was a homemaker for her loving family. After the children were on their own, she went to work with her husband at Zonolite Insulation in Phoenix, AZ and later worked at Phoenix Baptist Hospital until she retired. Jo lived in Arizona for 55 years and then moved to San Angelo to live with Karen and her grandchildren.Jo is survived by two daughters, Jane Ann Drake of Hutchinson, Kansas and Karen Lea Rose of San Angelo along with numerous grandchildren.She was preceded in death by parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar McGraw; son Robert Dow Harper; and daughter Donna Jean Harper.A private burial will take place in Phoenix, Arizona at a later date.Memorials are suggested to the , P.O.
