Veronica Matthews was born on February 19, 1965, and passed away on December 3, 2025, in Madison, Alabama, United States. She was a beloved mother to Martin Matthews Jr and Varonique Matthews, and a cherished grandmother to seven grandchildren.

Veronica attended Portsmouth Virginia High School, where she excelled academically and made lifelong friendships. After high school, she continued her studies at Drake University and graduated in 2006 with a degree in Business Administration.
