Vernon Taylor Sr. , 66, passed on February 11, 2022. Vernon was born on June 2, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan at Henry Ford Hospital. He was born to his mother (Marianne Taylor) and his father (Harold Taylor.) He is survived by his siblings Tyus and Dorthea. Vernon left behind 3 beloved children (Vernon Jr, Cynthia, and Lamar) and his 2 grandchildren (Blake and Vateia.) Vernon was a hardworking man. He kept several jobs to provide for his family. He was a jack of all trades. If you needed anything fixed, you could call on him. If you needed to eat a delicious, home cooked meal, you could call on him. He was also known for making the best cakes. Coconut cakes were his favorite. 

Vernon loved music. He was beyond thankful to be from the city of motown. He showed his passion for music through his piano. He played so swiftfully as his fingers gracefully tapped those keys. Fortunately, he passed down that wonderful talent to his son Vernon Jr. who will continue to spread his father's legacy. The world has lost another amazing soul too soon. Gone but never forgotten.
