Springfield, MissouriVelda Ann Woodall (née Hamilton), born on April 22, 1952, in Silsbee, Texas, passed away on June 11, 2025, in Springfield, Missouri. She was 73 years old.
Velda’s life was rooted in faith and family. A devoted Christian, she carried her beliefs with quiet strength and unwavering conviction throughout her life. Her warmth and resilience touched the lives of many who knew her.
She is lovingly remembered by her children Kellie and Daniel Peirce; Donnie Copeland; Wendy and Rusty Baradshaw; Jay and Rich Olcott; and Matt and Amber Woodall. Velda was blessed with thirteen grandchildren and a whole bunch of great-grandbabies who brought immense joy to her life.
Velda was preceded in death by her parents, Alan and Hazel Hamilton; her sisters Lynn and Johnnie Gal; her brothers Bill and Jimmy Hamilton; and her great-great-grandbaby Jaxson Wise.
In quieter moments, Velda found peace in the simple pleasures of life. She loved fishing—whether casting a line from the shore or sitting patiently by the water—and could often be found piecing together puzzles with care and focus. These hobbies reflected her patience, attentiveness, and appreciation for life’s small joys.
Velda’s memory will live on through the generations she helped shape. May her legacy bring comfort to those who knew and loved her. A Memorial Gathering will be held on August 16, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Branson , Mo W 76 Country Blvd, Branson, MO 65616
