Vardaman was reunited with his heavenly father on March 17, 1923. Vardaman was born on February 1, 1915, to Anse and the late Addie. Although very young Vardaman was always very curious. Saying his family was dysfunctional would have been an understatement. When his dearest mother has passed away Vardaman did not know what was really going on. He was so optimistic that he never really believed his mother was dead, he just believed that his mother had turned into a fish. Vardaman held his family together.
Vardaman leaves behind his elderly father, Anse, his 3 brothers, Jewel, Darl, and Cash, and his dearest sister, Dewey Dell.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, March 24 starting at noon. The service will be held at Christ Church Cathedral. Friends of the family can pay their respects on Wednesday, March 23 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
