Vanessa Gomez, 8, of Providence, Rhode Island, passed Sunday, August 04, 2019. Vanessa was born to Roger, and Melina Gomez, October 10, 2010 in Providence, Rhode Island. 

Vanessa was born in Providence, RI on October 10, 2010 and was the daughter of Roger and Melina Gomez. 

Although Vanessa was very young, she was an avid Boston Sports fan, with the bruins being her number one team. Through all the hardships, she has always found joy and happiness within sports. She was the happiest when she was at home surrounded by her favorite people. With her long brown hair, big brown eyes, and a huge smile, Vanessa would light up any room she was in. She spread love and laughter no matter where she was. Vanessa could be found outside in the backyard playing basketball, riding her bike, and running around barefoot. Even when she was out getting dirty she loved being pretty, dressed up, and playing with make up. She always shined bright and spread joy. 

Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Saturday August 9, 2019 in the A.A Mariani & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Clos officiating. 

Visitation will be held from 11:00AM until the time of the services. Burial will follow at Swan Point Cemetery.
