We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Vanessa Monzon, born on February 10, 2008, in Yonkers, New York. She left us too soon on November 5, 2025.

Vanessa was the beloved daughter of Micheal Monzon and Vanessa Santos. She leaves behind her partner, Ever Lockett, with whom she shared many cherished memories.

She poured her love and affection into her studies at High School for Climate Justice. She graduated with honors in 2026, showing her dedication to environmental causes.

Vanessa had a zest for life and a love for nature. She could often be found swimming in the local pool, skating at the ice rink, or curled up with a good book in the park.

While we mourn her passing, we choose to remember Vanessa for the joy and light she brought to our lives. May she find peace in the great beyond.

Rest in peace, Vanessa. You will be forever missed.
