Van Warren, 78, of Aberdeen, Mississippi, United States, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018, at his home in Tupelo. 

Warren was a devote member of Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church and could often be found lifting spirits and helping any way possible at most community and church events when his health permitted. 

Warren leaves behind two sons, Jerry and Johnny Lee Warren; A daughter, Wanda Smith several grandchildren; Joy Boughter, Latwana Smith, Tiffany Polk, Shaka Smith, Cynthia Chandler, Reginald Warren and a lifetimes worth of close friends but is on the journey home to reunite with his wife of 27 years, Mrs. Patricia Warren.
