Umaih Belmont-Baptiste, 30, of Pau-Prince, Haiti, passed Tuesday, December 11, 2018. Umaih was born to Jean-Claude Baptiste, and Mita Noelle Belmont, September 16, 1988, in Newark, New Jersey.

Umaih graduated from Malcolm X Shabazz High School in 2006 and received a degree from L'Ecole de Design France in 2010. She married Sion Joel Jr. and they lived together in Pau-Prince. Umaih worked at Home Health Aide until she retired in 2017. She traveled the world and she felt that anyone who couldn't afford medical care she provided it for them.

Umaih is survived by 3 children, 3 sisters, 1 brother and also her parents: Noel Clarisse Belmont, Reginald Miles Belmont, and Priscilla Sydney Belmont. Her three sisters Fabiola Belmont, Vernal Belmont , &  Kathrine Obe and her only brother Claude Baptiste.
