Tyzaiah Marquette Gaither was born on March 14, 2004, in Prince Georges's County. He was 19 years old and departed this life on June 22, 2023. His soul was taken to an eternal place of rest, a place free of pain, suffering, and sorrow.

In his early years, Tyzaiah gained his education by attending school in Washington County and Charles County. Tyzaiah achieved various awards, including honor roll and perfect attendance. He later returned to D.C. public school system attending Dunbar Senior High in NorthWest, D.C.

Tyzaiah became a member of the Indian Head Worship Center where he served as an usher to the community. He believed in God, and his faith was in Christ Jesus as his Lord and Saviour. Although Tyzaiah had a quiet manner, he could be lively at times with a great sense of humor and charm. He was a very witty young man with a loving spirit.

Some of his favorites to do were making music, spending time with family, playing video games, paintballing, and fishing. Tyzaiah also enjoyed sports and for 5 years played basketball for Charles County Park and Recreation and soccer for Southern Maryland Youth Organization. He was a die-hard Washington Commanders (aka Redskins) fan.

Tyzaiah leaves to celebrate his life and cherish his memories; his mother, Angel Lipscomb; his father, Perry Gaither; loving brothers and sisters, Dakota Lewis, Caleb Lewis, Kelsey Lewis, Shelby Lewis, Corey Lewis, Alex Kent, Kia Kent, Saquan Lipscomb, Kevin Taylor, Jaylyn (Star); grandfathers, Terry Gaither and John R. Lipscomb; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Tyzaiah may not be here among us but know his spirit and love lives within each of us. He will be deeply missed by all and Heaven will be truly blessed by his presence.
