It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tyrel Munna, who was tragically taken from us on July 2, 2025, in Chicago, Illinois. Born on May 6, 2000, Tyrel brought joy and laughter to all who knew him.

He leaves behind his beloved children, Diamond Munna and Craig Munna, who he loved with all his heart. Tyrel was a dedicated father who always put his family first.

Known for his love of basketball and football, Tyrel could often be found on the court or field, giving it his all. His competitive spirit and sense of humor made him a joy to be around.

Tyrel graduated from Stevenson High School in 2018, where he made lasting friendships and memories. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In the words of his family, Tyrel's infectious laughter and caring nature will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, Tyrel Munna. You will always hold a special place in our hearts.
