Tylon Berniece Williams Brisette, a woman of unwavering faith and the heart of her large family, passed away peacefully in her home March 2nd 2026 in Phoenix Arizona. She was 82 years old Born on Aug, 16th  in Gary, Indiana Tylon dedicated her life to her family and her community. As a mother of six, her home was a place of constant motion, laughter, and unconditional love. She mastered the art of the "big family" meal and ensured every child felt seen and supported.

Her life was deeply rooted in her faith. A devoted member of Hendrix Baptist Church for 20 years, she was a familiar face in the pews every Sunday. Whether she was serving on the Women of Faith board,  teaching Sunday School, or offering a quiet prayer for a neighbor, her actions were always guided by her love for the Lord. She lived by the principle of "loving thy neighbor" and was often the first to arrive with a casserole or a kind word for someone in need.

Tylon is survived by her six children: Douglas, Charmaine, Valentina, Julian, Tyresa, and Tyrone, as well Grand Children Danny, Shirley, Nicole, Douglas III, Tessa, Malcolm, D’Rtanya, Delia, Hakeem, Jamar, Sheila, Gianna, Dominique, Tracie, Tekoa, Treniece, Shamar, Dametri, Erin, Zane, Erica, Myesha, Marshay and over 30+ great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Brisette, and her parents.

A celebration of Tylon’s life and faith will be held on March 21,  2026 at 10am at Southern Baptist Church . In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Southern Baptist Church, an organization dear to her heart.
