Tyler Benjamin Voyles Obituary

Jun 10, 1986 - Feb 20, 2026

This obituary is administered by:

Tyler Benjamin Voyles, 39, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. He was born to Danny Voyles and Jerilyn (Newby) Voyles on June 10, 1986, in Gillette, Wyoming.

As a child, his mother remarried and Tyler moved to Ten Sleep, Wyoming, where he spent his childhood years on a farm. At a young age, he learned the value of hard work. Tyler always wanted to work with his hands, so he completed his schooling in Rapid City, where he received his GED and developed valuable masonry skills.

He later married and was proud to adopt his daughter, Oakley. A few years later, he and his wife welcomed their daughter Chevelle. Tyler loved his family immensely and worked very hard to provide for them. He was a jack of all trades, working on the mountain removing dead trees to help prevent fires, spending many years in the oilfield, and eventually finding his calling as a plumber. In 2023, he decided to work for himself and started his own business, Quality Plumbing Services.

Tyler was an avid outdoorsman. His greatest passion was fishing, but he also loved hunting, camping, and riding side-by-sides. Through all of life’s trials, he always had a smile on his face and lived life to the fullest. Tyler loved his family fiercely, and you didn’t have to be related by blood for him to treat you like family. He never knew a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand or offer heartfelt advice to anyone who needed it. His smile lit up every room he entered. Tyler loved to sing and never turned down an opportunity for karaoke or to belt out one of his favorite songs anywhere he went.

In the last few years of his life, Tyler met the love of his life, Marilyn, who vowed to care for him and stood faithfully by his side throughout his battle with cancer. He faced his illness with strength, grit, and an unshakable spirit. Tyler was outgoing and never afraid to speak his mind. Above all, he was a fighter until his very last breath.

Tyler is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn; maternal grandmother, Carole Newby; father, Danny Voyles of Gillette, Wyoming; mother, Jerilyn Eason and stepfather Rick Eason of Gillette, Wyoming; stepfather George Smith of Ten Sleep, Wyoming; daughters Oakley and Chevelle Voyles of Worland, Wyoming; stepsons Trenton Keuntjes, Ivan Keuntjes, Jaykob Keuntjes, and Thomas West, all of Worland; stepdaughter Sullie Ann Keuntjes (Andrew Drake); brother Scott Voyles and niece Harleigh Voyles; sister Miranda Voyles (Ryan Bailey) and nephews Stetson and Mason Ottema of Gillette, Wyoming; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins throughout Wyoming and Montana.
