Ty’Shawn Williams, age 46, of Smithville, Georgia, passed away on April 9, 2024. He was born on May 7, 1977, to his parents Marcus and Alice Williams. He was married to Tasha Williams for 8 years and together they had four children, Auzuua Taylor, Naomi Taylor, Ja’Quan Williams, and Heydi Williams.Ty’Shawn attended Monroe High School and graduated in 1995. He then went on to continue his education at Jackson State University. While at Jackson State, Ty’Shawn played football for 2 years until an ACL injury cut his career short.After his football career ended, Ty’Shawn pursued a career in the transportation industry. He worked as a Commercial Truck driver before eventually owning his own trucking company.Outside of work, Ty’Shawn enjoyed fishing and watching football. He was known for his love of the outdoors and spending time with his family.Tragically, Ty’Shawn lost his battle with Lung Cancer on April 9, 2024. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
