Trudy Jeanette Flowers Benson 1945 - 2016 Four Oaks Mrs. Trudy Jeanette Flowers Benson, age 71, of 9982 NC Hwy 210 died Monday at UNC Rex Healthcare in Raleigh. Funeral service will be held 6:00 PM Wednesday at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Four Oaks. Revs. John Jernigan and Brian Beasley will officiate. Graveside service will be 11:00 AM Thursday at Sunset Memorial Park. Mrs. Benson was born on February 14, 1945 in Johnston County to the late William Ransom and Estella Langdon Flowers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy E. Benson, brother, William Jerry Flowers, brothers-in-law, Dennis Benson, Landy K. Norris and Mack Norris. Mrs. Benson retired from the Agricultural Extension Department with NC State University, Paul's Restaurant and OK Cleaners in Four Oaks. She was a member of St. Mary's Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church. Surviving are daughter, Tonya Benson of Four Oaks; special fur babies, SueSue and Esocrates; brothers and sisters-in-law, Neta Norris, Dannie B. and Deborah Norris, Walt and Maxine Benson; Tom and Jackie Benson, Dean and Karen Benson, Dottie Ann and Donnie Moore, Anita Hix, Jewel Norris, and Brenda Benson; several nieces and nephews The family will receive friends following the service at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks.
