Troy Wayne McDaniel, affectionately known as “T Dub,” passed away on December 1, 2025, at the age of 26. Born on June 1, 2000, Troy lived a life defined by passion, heart, and an unwavering commitment to uplifting others.

A talented semi-professional football player, Troy brought intensity and dedication to the field, but his greatest impact was made off of it. He was a mentor to youth, someone who believed deeply in guiding the next generation, encouraging them to believe in themselves, stay disciplined, and chase their dreams no matter the odds. Troy had a natural ability to connect with people—especially young ones—and he used his influence to inspire growth, confidence, and hope.

Known for his warm spirit, infectious energy, and genuine love for others, Troy left a lasting impression on everyone who crossed his path. He was more than an athlete; he was a leader, a role model, and a source of strength for many.

Troy is survived by his beloved son, Travon Wayne McDaniel, who was the center of his world and his greatest motivation. Troy’s legacy will live on through Travon and through the countless lives he touched with his guidance and kindness.
