It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Troy Hargrave Jr. on December 6, 2025. Born on February 21, 1984 in Portland, Oregon, United States, Troy was the beloved son of Troy Wayne Hargrave and Wendy Sue Hargrave (Bokoskie).

Troy leaves behind his only child, Hudson Dean Hargrave. Troy's main passion was to see his son thrive and succeed; and to let him know that he will always be with him in spirit cheering him on.

Troy attended Vernonia High School and graduated in 2002. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. There are many friends out there that know, or knew, Troy. Some of those friends he has now joined in the heaven above (Dylan; Cheek) to name a couple. Some of those friends stood by him until the end. May they always remember the good times they had together.

Troy had a passion for Toyota's, hence he gained the nickname 'Troyota'. His other passions included fishing, rock crawling, 4-wheeling, installing stereos in rigs, riding and fixing bicycles, and rock hounding. He had a knack for fixing anything when given the opportunity. His adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors will be remembered by all.

Tragically, Troy's life was cut short by cancer. He fought bravely until the end, showing immense strength and resilience. He passed away in his home on that fateful day. A true person who will never be forgotten.

May Troy Hargrave Jr. rest in peace, knowing that he was loved and cherished by his family and friends. He will forever hold a special place in our hearts. We will always remember the goods times that we had spending time with him. We will always feel his spirit soaring above us.
