This obituary is administered by:

Trinidad (Tining) Julio Devera, 80, of Ineangan, Dupax Del Norte, Nueva Vizcaya has passed away peacefully in the presence of loved ones on October 29, 2021. She was the youngest of five children born to Severino and Trinidad Vidad Julio Sr. on August 7th, 1941. Trinidad (Jr.) married Basilio Devera in 1966 and bore five loving children; Leny Devera Mira (Andy), Jenny Devera, Lily Devera Reichle (Virgil), Medy Devera and Reden Devera (Celia). She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; Jose Julio, Rizal Julio, one sister; Loreta Julio Failadona and a daughter; Medy Devera. She leaves behind a husband of 55 years; Basilio, a sister; Naty Julio Alcantara, four children; Leny, Jenny, Lily, Reden, and nine grandchildren; Bryan Mira, Hannah Reichle Evarola, Rolando Mira Jr., Daphne Mendoza, Matthew Reichle, Dhenczel Devera, Dyan Mira, Dhenry Devera and Dhenzangelo Devera.

A few months after her birth, in December of 1941, the Empire of Japan invaded and subsequently occupied the Philippines, where her family and countrymen endured great hardship. She did not finish highschool, choosing instead to work and help support her family. She hence worked a myriad of jobs from farmwork to a jeepney conductor. In her younger years, she was characterized by her loved ones as being firm, unbending and strong-willed. In other words, very few got into an argument with her and came out on the winning side. She was also characterized by her piety, evidenced by her being a life-long member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo. Inside the church, she served as a choir leader and a teacher of the children’s worship service. After getting married, she raised her children under humble circumstances and taught them the importance of hard-work. Trinidad and Basilio performed miscellaneous farmwork until starting an egg distribution business to better support their family. Eventually, Trinidad and Basilio moved to Denver, Colorado in the United States, where Trinidad would become a naturalized US citizen. After 14 years of working in the United States and sending money back to the Philippines, in 2009 they retired to their hometown of Ineangan where Trinidad would peacefully live out the remainder of her years in the presence of loved ones. Trinidad loved singing and watching her favorite actors and actresses in various teleseryes. However, above all, she loved spending time with her family. Despite having many grandchildren, she placed great importance in raising and having a hand in each of their lives. She will be dearly missed.
