Alton, Tx. - Trinidad Alcantar, born on February 14, 1921 in McAllen, Tx. to Sabas and Paulita Ortega passed away on November 16, 2016 at her residence in Alton, Tx. She is preceded in death by her husband Julio Alcantar, daughters San Juanita Alcantar Segura and Amelia Alcantar, and her son Alberto Alcantar. She leaves behind her daughters Alicia A. Cantu (Jose), Ana B. Diaz (Manuel), her sons Luis Alcantar (Hilda), Armando Alcantar (Margarita), 19 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren. A visitation will take place on Sunday, November 20th, 2016 from 3:00pm to 9:00pm at Flores Funeral Home, 219 S. Mayberry Rd., in Mission. A Rosary will be prayed at 7:00pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 1:00pm on Monday, November 21st 2016 at San Martin de Porras and burial will follow at Valley Memorial Garden in 3605 North Taylor Rd. Mission, Tx. 78573. The family is in the care of Flores Funeral Home in Mission.
