Bender, Tricia S.Tricia S. Bender, age 67, of 2401 Polk St., Two Rivers, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at Atrium Post-Acute Care of Two Rivers. Tricia was born on December 26, 1949, in Tomahawk, a daughter of the late Wayne Akey Sr. and Shirley (Knickelbine) Boulanger. She was employed as a floral designer at Flowers by Joyce for many years and later at KI. She enjoyed playing cards with her many friends, time spent "up north" with her family, finding treasures at garage sales, fishing, regular visits with her granddaughters and a good game of Rummy. Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law: Michael and Leah Heier of Two Rivers and James Heier of Athens, WI; two granddaughters: Hailey and Kylie Heier; three brothers and two sisters-in-law: John Akey, Wayne and Judy Akey, and Alan and Nancy Karau; one sister and two brothers-in-law: Gail and Jeff Sperl and Lee Lake; stepfather: Bernie Boulanger; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister: Sharon Lake. A memorial visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2017, at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th St. Two Rivers.
