After completing her high school education, Tonya pursued a degree in nursing, a field that she was passionate about. She was known for her compassion and selflessness, and her patients often regarded her as their guardian angel.

Tonya met her husband, Michael, while working at the hospital, and they fell in love instantly. They were married in 2005 and went on to have two children, a son and a daughter, who were the joy of their lives. Tonya was a devoted wife and mother who always put her family first.
