Tonya Lynn Wade, 47, Loretto, passed away Monday, Oct. 31, 2016 at U.K. Medical Center in Lexington.She was born on Jan. 25, 1969 in Marion County. She worked as a child care provider and former assistant director of the Loretto Child Care Center. Survivors include: her husband of 28 years, Doug Wade; one daughter, Jami Miller (Mike) of Loretto; her parents, Cooper and Mary Thompson Mattingly; one brother, Greg Mattingly (Cathy) of Lebanon; and one sister, Jennifer Richardson (Alan) of Lebanon.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with interment in the church cemetery. Rev. Bryan T. Lamberson will officiate. Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.The family requests that everyone wear U.K. themed attire to honor Tonya and her love of U.K. basketball.Mattingly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
