We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Tony Bernard Thurman (59), who was born on September 19, 1964 and passed away on May 28, 2024, in the hands of his life partner. He resided in Macon, Georgia, United States.

Tony was the beloved son of George Pearson, Jr. and DeLouis Thurman Rainey. He shared a crazy and amazing 13 years with his "wife," Lisa Kirkie. Tony had five children; Dwon Graham, Darius Singleton, Sr., Gabrielle Williams, Tony Moore, and JaKari Moore.

Tony attended Southwest High School and went on to have several jobs including a successful career at Dynasty Industries.

He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, quirky sense of humor, and having the ability in making all those he encountered to never forget who he was. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Tony is survived by his mother; devoted fiancee; five (5) children; brothers: (list father side), Luke Rainey, Jr., Aaron Brown, Timothy Rainey, Dewayne Rainey; sisters: (list father side), Pamela Head; nine (9) grandchildren; three (3) great grandchildren; and several Aunt's, Uncle's, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father; step father, Luke Rainey, Sr.; his paternal grandparents (list their names); his maternal grandparents, Genie and Maggie Thurman; and a paternal sister, Danielle Pearson.

The family of Tony Thurman would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Nurse Sara at the Medical Center Navicent Health; Pruitt Hospice, especially Janae, for her caring, loving and compassionate care of Tony along with Nurse Pam at Pruitt Health Center during Tony's final days. A special thanks also to the staff at Hick's and Son's for the thoughtfulness, respect and dignity shown to the family while entrusted with our loved one in attempting to fulfill all of Tony's wishes.
