Memphis lost one of its brightest stars on April 10, 2023 with the passing of Tina Macklin after her hard battle with breast cancer.
Tina was born on May 1, 1999, in Jackson, MS, as the first child of Ray and Ann Jones. Her love for learning music and helping others would express itself in the time she spent in the church. Tina had a soft spot love for all animals, and knew how to cheer others up on their worst days.
Tina was a true ray of sunshine in the lives of everyone she touched, and her infectious smile brought joy to all those she encountered. Her love for life was contagious, and she lived every day to the fullest.
Tina leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and adventure. She is survived by her parents, her sister, Michelle Jones; her brothers, Darius Jones and Tae'shawn Jones; her cousins, aunts, uncles, and the countless friends and lives Tina has touched throughout her life. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her, and her infectious spirit will continue to inspire us all.

Details: After the memorial service, a celebration of Christina Macklin's life will take place at the Fields' home. In honor of Christina's life and legacy, we will eat, drink, and pray from 3 to 6 o'clock. Hopefully you'll be there.
