Timothy Michael Campbell, 53, of Lafayette passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at his residence. Michael was born on June 29, 1960 in Lafayette to the late Raymond George and Martha Helen (Howard) Campbell. He married Christine LeClaire on December 8, 2001, and she survives. Michael worked in various management positions, including a bakery and in merchandising. He enjoyed professional football, especially the Dallas Cowboys. Michael also enjoyed listening to oldies music, especially The Beatles.Surviving along with his wife, are two daughters, Erin (husband: Aaron) Stephens of Lafayette, Micah Campbell, at home, and one son, Christopher Campbell, at home. Also surviving are three brothers, Jerry (wife: Judy), Lance (wife: Tracy), Steven, and two sisters, Sherry (husband: Stephen), and Debbie, and his wife's parents, Douglas and Shirley LeClaire of Lafayette. He is preceded in death by three brothers, and one sister.Services will be held on Monday, October 14, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. with visitation one half hour prior at Simplicity Funeral Care with Pastor Joe Bell officiating.
