Timothy P. "TJ" Johnson 1941 - 2016 Timothy P. "TJ" Johnson, 75, a resident of Kenosha, died Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016, at Manor Care in Kenosha. TJ was born on Jan., 24, 1941, in Kenosha to Albert H. and Genevieve M. (Holahan) Johnson. He attended St. James Grade School and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School. On June 23, 1978, he was united in marriage with Linda Lura in Las Vegas. For 33 years, TJ worked as a firefighter in Kenosha, retiring in 1997. He was a big Packers fan and loved golf. He loved to travel, especially to Ireland; he loved music, mostly Irish music, and he especially loved his yearly visits to Irish Fest. TJ was formerly a member of Mt. Pleasant Lutheran Church and most recently attended Lord of Life Lutheran Church of Kenosha. He will be missed by many as he was "one of the good ones." TJ is survived by his loving wife Linda of Kenosha; son Troy Johnson of Rhinelander; daughter Tracy (Martin) Pavilonis of Kenosha; and two grandchildren, Samantha and Andrew Pavilonis. In addition, he is survived by his two brothers, James (Carol) Johnson of Antioch, Ill., Dennis (Mary) Johnson of Somers; and two sisters-in-law, Joanne Johnson of Kenosha, and Audrey Johnson of Oak Creek. Preceding TJ in death were his parents; brothers, Richard and Jerry; and sisters, Barbara Ancevic, and Mary Lou Hylinski. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016, at 6 p.m. at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Kenosha. (5601-Washington Road) Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday at the church from 4:30 p.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place at a later date.
