Thurma Lee Griffith, 54 of Poplar Bluff departed this life on March 12, 2019, at The Manor in Poplar Bluff. She was born on March 26, 1964, to the late Roy and Bessie (Anderson) Rippee. She was a homemaker and loved her grandchildren dearly. She enjoyed watching the Price Is Right, and was of the Christian Faith. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed car rides with the music on and singing, trips to go shopping and going out to eat with ones she loved. She especially loved her some chicken and biscuits. Although she is no longer with us like she would always so there's no need to be "Scurd", because she's with our heavenly father now.

She is survived by her children Fanci Griffith, Charles Greer, by her grandchildren, Aschah Smith, Chelsea Greer, Sarah Smith. Three brothers Charlie Rippee, Bobby Rippee, Billy Rippee, and by nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son BJ Greer, by six sisters, Lillie Mae Rippee, Janice Lee Rippee, Sarah TJ Rippee, Edith Paulene Keller, Linda Lou Keller, Cathy Green, by two brothers David Rippee, J.R. Rippee.

The family is planning a memorial service at a later date.
