Thomas Snowtala1932 - 2013Thomas Snowtala, 81, of Kenosha passed away on Sunday May 26, 2013, at UHS-Kenosha. Thomas was born on March 27, 1932, in Kenosha, he was the son of the late Leo and Ruth Snowtala. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha. He was a member of the U.S. Air Force, serving in Japan. He married Jean Saxe on April 30, 1976, in Kenosha. He was employed at the Kenosha News, Waukegan News Sun, Central H.S. and Great Lakes Naval Base throughout the years. His hobbies included going to casinos, cheering for the Cubs, fishing, playing Kismet, cribbage and dartball and spending time with family and friends.Survivors include his wife, Jean Snowtala of Kenosha; children, Cynthia (Robert) Mastronardi of Kenosha, Julie (Dave Martin) Snowtala of Kenosha, Timothy (Deborah) Snowtala of Denver, Colo., Mark Olson of Silver Lake, Steve Olson of Beach Park, Ill.; a twin brother, Leo (Barb) Snowtala of Fla.; sisters, Dorothy (Louie) Iaquinta, Patricia (James) McLuckie both of Kenosha; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Olson, and a sister, Francis Hughes.A visitation will be held on Friday, May 31, 2013, at Kenosha Funeral Services from 9-11 a.m. with funeral services to follow at 11 a.m. Burial Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
