Thomas S. Edelen, 71, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville.He was born on April 13, 1945 in Lebanon to the late Lucille Edelen from Lebanon and William "Bill" Lee Durrett for Flint, Michigan.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by: his daughters, Carol Harris and Connie White. Survivors include: his wife of 46 years, Linda Mae Porter; daughters, Mona White and Santina Edelen; grandchildren, Sawntel Edelen, Lanisha Edelen, Laron Ford, Tyawana Ford, Alesha Blake, and Rashard Blake; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Eva White of Flushing, Michigan, Monica Byrd and Florence (Gary) Nichols of Houston, Texas, Dennis (Gwendolyn Jean) Durrett, Lawrence (Janet) Durrett, Robert Durrett and Donald (Shirley) all of Flint, Michigan; several aunts, including a special aunt, Josephine Knuckley; and a host of nieces and nephews, relative and friends.Memorial services will be held at noon, Saturday, Nov. 19, at Campbell-DeWitt Funeral Home, Lebanon. The family request visitation after 11 a.m.Campbell-DeWitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
