Thomas Pullen, Jr. age 81, of Bedford, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2016. He was born on Jan. 14, 1935 to the late Thomas "Tom" Willie Pullen and Lelia Bell Pullen. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Lettie Mae Pullen and his grandmother, Elizabeth Penn. He is survived by five daughters, Jerri Holland and Jackie Lamore Pullen both of Raliegh, NC., Carol Harris of Lynchburg, Thomasena Harmon and Jo Ann Manns both of Bedford; thirteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, four brothers-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Oct. 7, 2016 at 1 pm at Washington Street Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Virginia Memorial Park.
