PORTER, Thomas Dean Age 65 of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born on February 11, 1951 in Hamilton, the son of the late Charles and Betty Porter. Tom graduated from Fairfield High School in 1969 and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. On November 3, 1977 he married his wife of over 39 years, Blanche (Hileman) Porter. Tom worked as a fire fighter for the City of Fairfield for 4 years and for Ross Township for 11 years, as well as a fire and safety inspector with UC. He was a member of the 5th Ohio Light Artillery and was involved in the Civil War school programs. Tom is survived by his wife, Blanche; brother, Mark Porter; and friends too numerous to mention. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Sharon Yonker. Visitation will be held from 5pm until 8pm on Friday, December 9, 2016 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South "D" Street, Hamilton. Funeral Services will be held at 10am on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the funeral home with Pastor Tim Pomeroy officiating.
