THOMAS P. Pickett of Richmond, Indiana, age 67 years, passed away on Wednesday, July 1st in Reid Memorial Hospital in Richmond, Indiana. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 PM on July 8th, 2020 on the family's farm, with Pastor Dwayne Hurt officiating. The family will receive friends from 3-7:00 P.M. on Wednesday. Burial will take place at a later time. Tom was born in Gary, Indiana to the late Homer and Helen (nee Macy) Pickett. He was married May 6, 1972 in Hobart, Indiana to Tonya  Pickett who survives. Tom was a loving father to , Jacob (Nicole) Pickett and William Pickett. He was a loving grandfather to Destiny, Evan, Logan, Jadin, Bailey. He and Tonya opened their home to many foster children. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Ashton. He worked for 39 years at Mittal Corp. as a scheduling clerk. He will be greatly missed.
